Keeping things in perspective
The original photo was taken in the 1960’s from a very old style photo booth, the size was tiny (inches: W=1.25 H=1.73 / cm: W=3.2cm H=4.4cm). It was falling apart and only staying together with sellotape.
The printed version was blown up in size because I scanned the original on a high dpi setting, that gave me the flexibility to enlarge the image. Now the final photo size you see here is (inch’s W=6 H=8 / cm W=15cm H=20cm).
I knew that to produce a realistic photo and not take away the charm of the texture too much from the original I would need to take care not to over work it. The major challenge was the creases, spots, rips, scratches, sun burns and colour fading.
No project is too big or small, we will tackle anything and every job will be priced on the photo’s state and work to complete. To get a quote then please visit the contact us page.
